AL's peace rally at south gate of Baitul Mukarram today
The ruling Awami League (AL) holds a peace rally in the capital on Saturday as part of its eight-day of series programmmes.
The rally, organised by Dhaka Metropolitan North and South AL, will start around 2:30pm in front of the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
The party General Secretary Obaidul Quader is expected to join as chief guest. He will return from Singapore today after treatment and, later, join the rally.
Dhaka Metropolitan North President Sheikh Bazlur Rahman will preside over the peace rally.
