Director Syed Salahuddin Zaki passes away

Director Syed Salahuddin Zaki has passed away at a private hospital in the capital on Monday night. He was 77.

He breathed his last at about 11:53 PM at United Hospital in Gulshan.

The news of his demise has been confirmed by Channel i's managing director, Faridur Reza Sagor.

It is known that around 10pm, Salahuddin Zaki's health condition suddenly deteriorated and he was taken to the hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him.

Salahuddin Zaki left behind a son and a daughter, both are living in Canada. The decision will be made about his burial after their return to the country.
