Export-import through Benapole land port halted

Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port have been suspended due to Vishwakarma Puja, a religious festival of the Hindu community.

Benapole land port director (Acting) Abdul Jalil said the trade activities between the two countries remained suspended since Monday morning due to the Vishwakarma Puja celebration.
The trade activities will resume on Tuesday morning, he said.

However, the immigration activities are going on as usual.
