200 farmers get seeds, fertilizers in Kurigram's Nageshwari

A total of 200 small and marginal farmers of Nageshwari upazila in Kurigram district have been given seeds and fertilizers under an incentive programme during Kharip-2 season in the fiscal year 2023-24.

Nageshwari upazila nirbahi officer Kawsar Ahmed handed over the agricultural incentive to the farmers at a programme hosted by the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) at the upazila office premises around 11:00 am, Thursday.
At that time, upazila agriculture officer Shahriar Hossain, secondary education officer Kamrul Islam, project implementation officer Mofakkharul Islam and DAE officer Iqbal Mahmud, among others, were present on the occasion.

Each farmer received five kilograms of black legume seeds, 15 kilograms of fertilizers including five kilograms of Muriate of Potash (MOP) and 10 kilograms of Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP).
