Youth's hanging body recovered in Mymensingh

Police recovered the body of a young man from a tree at Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh district early Tuesday.

Deceased Juwel Morol, 18, was son of Ratan Morol and a resident of Molmol village under Datter Bazaar union of Gafargaon upazila. He used to live in a rented house at Bhaluka upazila.
According to locals, Juwel was drug addicted and worked in a textile mill at the upazila. In the early morning, they saw the body was hanging from a branch of a tree near to his rented house and informed police.

Pagla Police Station officer-in-charge Raju Ahmmed said being informed police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, police also found some drugs on the spot.

"It has been assuming that he might have committed suicide but the actual reason behind the death would be known after investigation," the OC added.
