AL govt becomes disoriented: Fakhrul Present Awami League government which failed in all sphere of the state has become disoriented, said Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. Because of it they have indulged in detaining the leaders and workers of BNP and its associate organizations inhumanely, he said. In a statement on Sunday, Mirza Fakhrul strongly condemned and protested the arrest of Noakhali district BNP’s relief affairs secretary Abdur Rhaman Chairman from a hotel in Dhaka. The BNP secretary general also alleged that the government has turned the entire country into a prison by arresting the leaders and workers of the opposition parties, including BNP and its associate bodies.  He said, “Arrest of opposition leaders and workers takes a serious turn. It has turned into a part of the government’s ongoing process and arrest of Abdur Rahman Chairman is part of that process.” Mirza Fakhrul called for the immediate release of Abdur Rahman Chairman withdrawing all the cases against him.
