Girl crushed under train in Gopalganj

A teenage girl was crushed under the wheels of a train at Kashiani upazila in Gopalganj district on Saturday morning.

The dead was Munni Khanam, 16, daughter of Pannu Sheikh, a resident of Barobhag area under Alfadanga upazila in Faridpur district.
According to police, a Rajshahi-bound Tungipara Express train hit the girl while she was crossing rail line in Khayerhat Beltala area. She died on the spot.

Kashiani Police Station officer-in-charge Feroz Alam confirmed the matter.
