Varsity student 'kills self' in Savar in huff with family

A student of a private university took his own life in Savar, out skirts of Dhaka, out of huff with his family on Friday.

Deceased Shahin Islam, 22, was second year student of City University in Ashulia.

The incident happened on Friday morning at Genda area under Savar municipality, Savar Model Police Station SI Harun Miah confirmed the matter at night.

According to Shahin's friends, on Friday morning, getting no response from inside, Shahin's family breaking open the door and found his hanging body. They rushed him to Savar Enam Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead.

SI Harun Miah said on information, they recovered the body from the hospital in the evening.

Primarily we were informed that Shahin might have committed suicide out of huff with his family as they forbade him to drive motorcycle.

Shahin liked to ride motorcycle, his friends said.
