Youth 'commits suicide' in Dinajpur

A young man reportedly committed suicide at Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur district on Friday night.

The deceased was Shanto Kumar Das, 25, son of Milon Kumar Das, a resident of Rampura area of the upazila.

It was known that the young man hung himself from a ceiling fan in his room around 11 pm.
Family members rescued him and took to hospital where he was declared dead.

Parbatipur Model Police Station officer-in-charge Mostafizar Rahman confirmed the matter.
