Man killed in road accident in Sreemangal

A man was killed in a road accident at Sreemangal upazila of Moulvibazar district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Sumon Roy, 28, son of late Radacharan Roy, of Sandhani Residential area in the upazila. Sourav Pal, nephew of the deceased, said he along with his uncle went out from house riding on a bicycle. A covered van hit the vehicle at about 1.45pm on Habiganj road in front of Power Grid Company, leaving Sumon dead on the spot and another injured.  Sreemangal Police Station OC Jahangir Alam Sarder said they recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Hospital morgue. RA/GY |
