GPH Ispat has launched B600 C-R & B600 D-R rods in the steel market.
On the occasion, a seminar titled "Countries only high strength and high performing steel GPH Quantam B600 C-R & B600 D-R" was held in a hotel in Chattogram city on Monday.
Technical team leader of Padma Bridge Project engineer Professor Dr Shamim Z Basunia said, "GPH Steel has taken a revolutionary step in the country's infrastructure sector by introducing B600 C-R & B600 D-R. Engineers and architects can trust this high quality rod. BUET tested the high strength rod which will reduce the size of the column section in building construction, increase the floor area and capacity of carrying."
GPH Ispat's Technical Advisor Major General Abu Sayed Md Masood (retd) said GPH never compromises on quality. GPH Steel has an efficient and self-sufficient research and development team, he added.
Professor Rakib Ahsan of BUET joined the seminar virtually.
Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Chairman and Managing Director, GPH Group, Additional Managing Director Mohammad Almas Shimul, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Shobhan Mahbub Shahabuddin Raj and DGM of Research and Development Saiful Islam were present in the programme, among others.
