Veteran photographer Jalaluddin Haider, who photographs momentous incidents of the country including Liberation War, has passed away.

He was 82.

Jalaluddin Haider breathed his last at about 3.15am on Tuesday.

Photographer Jalaluddin Haider started his career by joining Dainik Paygam. Later, he worked at Daily Janakantha.

National Press Club president Farida Yasmin and general secretary Shymal Dutta expressed their profound shock and sorrow at the death of photographer Jalaluddin Haider.
