Three held with hemp in Uttara |
 Three held with hemp in Uttara Narcotics Control Department in a drive arrested three alleged drug peddlers along with 35 kilograms of hemp from Uttara of the capital on Wednesday evening. The arrested are Md Eliyas Mia, 35, Sujan Abedin, 37, and Md Abdul Shukkur, 34. Deputy Director of Dhaka Metropolitan Narcotics Control Department, Md Mehedi Hasan said acting on a tip-off, a team of the department members conducted a raid in West Uttara area and arrested the men along with the drugs. A case was filed with Uttara Paschim Police Station against them under Narcotics Control Act, the official added. SA |
