Two held along with Crystal meth and Yaba pills in Noakhali
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an anti-crime drive arrested two drug peddlers along with 3gm of Crystal methamphetamine (Ice) and 30 thousands 170 Yaba pills from Sonaimuri upazila under Noakhali district on Wednesday night.
The detainees were identified as Dulal Hossain, 47, hailed from Faridgonj upazila under Chandpur district and Akter Hossain Jony, 37, from Haziganj upaila of the district.
Sonaimuri Police Station sub-inspector Zafor Ahmed said on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at Sonaimuri College gate area of the upazila and arrested them with the contraband drugs.
“A case has been filed against them under Narcotics Drug Control Act” the sub-inspector added.
