Woman crushed under train in Brahmanbaria

A woman was crushed under the wheels of a train at Bijoynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Thursday morning.

The identity of the woman was not known immediately.

According to police, the woman was hit by a train at Mahesh Kajimura village under Bishnupur union early Thursday.

Later, being informed, police recovered the body from the spot and sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Akhaura Railway Police Station officer-in-charge Alim Hossain Shikdar confirmed the matter.
