21 held in Rajshahi on different charges

Police have arrested 21 people from different areas in Rajshahi city on various charges.

Of the arrestees, 10 had warrants against them while seven were drug addicts and the rest were detained on different charges.

They were arrested during several drives conducted in the city from Saturday night to Sunday morning. Several cases are pending with different police stations against the arrested persons.
Police also recovered a large amount of drugs during the drives, said Md Rafiqul Alam, additional deputy commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.
