Agrasar Bikrampur Foundation accords reception to Anwar, Jharna

Argasar Bikrampur Foundation accorded cordial reception to two of the finest of Bikrampur Professor Dr M Anwar Hossain and Professor Jharna Rahman in a colourful programme at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of National Museum in Dhaka recently.
Previously Dr M Anwar, a famed Microbiologist, educationalist and the Vice-Chancellor of Jashore University of Science and Technology, was awarded Ekushe Padak in Science for his contribution.
Professor Jharna who received Bangla Academy Award last year is a famed poet, editor, lyricist and singer. The chief guest Planning Minister MA Mannan, MP, handed over beautiful oil paintings as souvenirs to the awardees.
