Glass injury puts 27 stitches in Mashrafe’s leg

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the former Bangladesh captain, needed 27 stitches on his left leg after it was badly cut by glass at his Dhaka home.

Sources said that the cricketer had a collision with a showcase and subsequently a big piece of glass broke and fell on his leg, reports UNB.

Mashrafe was taken to a city hospital where he received 27 stitches.

It was not clear immediately when the pacer would be fit to play again.

Masrhafe took part in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League for the Legends of Rupganj as the captain. He led a mediocre team to the runners up spot.
