NeoCoV, a super dangerous and incurable corona variant found

A new variant has been discovered by scientists of China which may be even more fatal than any previous variant of corona virus.

Omicron and delta variant of COVID-19 are already threatening the lives of millions of people worldwide and another deadly variant in addition the previous one can be more deadly.
The scientists of China have raised a warning saying that this new strain of COVID-19 called NeoCov could affect 1 death out of every 3 people affected. This gives us chills down the spine knowing the transmission rate of this virus could be much more than delta variant and current SARS-COV-2.

Let us discuss the details about this new COVID-19 strain.

NeoCoV COVID-19 Strain

Scientists in China have discovered this new strain of corona virus named NeoCov. They have warned that this is a new strain which is much more deadly than all the other strains which we have seen till now. NeoCov is related to Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and is therefore MERS-Corona virus. All the previous strains were related to SARS-CoV-2 corona virus. NeoCoV could cause 1 out 3 deaths in people that are infected with this strain of corona virus. This is the average probability of rate of infection and is also said to be incurable till now.

Will Vaccine be Effective on NeoCoV Strain?

The scientists have also cleared this that current vaccines that are effective for COVID-19 strains against omicron and delta will not be effective against this strain. This is a new strain and COVID-19 vaccination would be inadequate to protect humans from any kinds of eventual infections which will be caused. Furthermore they have also said that this virus can be more fatal and there is hardly any cure for it right now if NeoCov strain spreads.

Research of NeoCoV Strain of Corona Virus

According to the research which has been done till now on this strain, considering the mutations SARS-CoV-2 variants heavily mutated. Thus they had a latent potential to infect humans through adaptation via antigenic drift. NeoCov has been linked to previously spread outbreaks in the countries of Middle East in 2012 and 2015. This is similar to corona virus spreading right now but could have different problems and increased fatalities.
