Two people crushed under trains in city

Two people were crushed under the wheels of separate trains at Kurial area in Dhaka city on Thursday morning.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Al Amin Mollah, 30, son of Nuru Mollah, a resident of Gosairhat upazila in Shariatpur district.

Quoting local police said a train crushed Al Amin when he was talking on his mobile phone and crossing the rail track at Kurial area around 11:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.
Earlier, an unidentified person was killed by another train in the area at about 6:00am.

However, the bodies were recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, said Airport Railway Station police outpost ASI Sanu Mang.
