Former MP Akmal Ibne Yusuf passes away

Former Member of Parliament Chowdhury Akmal Ibne Yusuf passed away in the capital early hours of Sunday. He was 75.

He breathed his last at 1:00am at his city's residence.

BNP Chairperson's Media Wing Officer, Shairul Kabir Khan, confirmed the matter.

The BNP leader left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of well wishers to mourn his death.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep shock over the death of Chowdhury Akmal Ibne Yusuf.
