Bangladesh lowers COVID-19 vaccine age limit to 18 years


The government has lowered the age-limit for Covid-19 vaccine registration. From now on, anyone over the age of 18 can register and get the vaccine through the 'Surokkha' website and app.  

Dr Shamsul Huque, spokesman of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the director of the vaccination programme, confirmed it on Wednesday afternoon.
He said the 'Surokkha' website started their registration activities for those who have attained the age of eighteen or more since Tuesday evening.
