1,950 Yaba pills come out after youth forced to defecate


A youth has been detained by Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) when he was found roaming outside the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka suspiciously.

Though the youth did not admit at the beginning, he told the APBn personnel at one stage of questioning that he was carrying 2,000 Yaba pills inside his belly.
The APBn personnel recovered yaba pills from Swapan Mia, 24, son of Ohidur Rahman Bhuiyan of Debidwar upazila in Comilla district on Monday night.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Airport Armed Police Md Ziaul Huque police detained Swapan Mia when he was seen roaming suspiciously in front of the domestic terminal at about 8:00pm on Monday.

During preliminary interrogation, Swapan revealed that he had kept the Yaba pills in his stomach.

Later, an X-ray was carried out in his abdomen at a nearby hospital when a large quantity of Yaba pills in 40 capsules were detected inside his belly. Later, the yaba pills came out of his belly when he was forced to defeacte.

A case was filed against Swapan Mia with the Airport Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act of 2018. He was then handed over to police.
