HC orders to shut down all dens of Rajarbagh Pir

High Court has directed to shut down all the dens of so-called Rajarbagh pir Dillur Rahman to stop deceiving people in the name of religion.
At the same time, the High Court directed to identify the sources of his properties now exist in different parts of the country and submit a detailed report after investigating those.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), the Counter Terrorism Unit of Bangladesh Police, and Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were asked to submit reports to the High Court within the next 60 days exzecuting the orders.
A High Court bench comprising Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Md Mostafizur Rahman issued the directives. Taking a 7-point recommendations of the National Human Rights Commission, the High Court issued the directives.
On September 19 last, the High Court ordered the ACC to investigate the assets and bank accounts of Rajarbagh Darbar Sharif and its Pir Dillur Rahman.
It also directed the CTTC unit to look into Dillur and his followers for possible links to militancy.
