DU Library reopens


Dhaka University Central Library has reopened after one and a half years break due to the spread of deadly Coronavirus.

The library reopened around 10 am on Sunday following health guidelines.
Students can enter the library by showing the proof of taking Covid vaccine and the university identity card.

According to the decision of the authorities they are allowing students inside the library after checking the Covid certificate and ID card of the students. Then the body temperature is being checked.

Masks, hand sanitizers and hand washing facilities have also been provided for the students.

At the university syndicate meeting on September 18, it was decided to reopen the library for the students subject to having at least one dose of vaccination certificate and valid university identity card.

However, undergraduate 4th year students and graduate students will be able to use the library and seminar libraries from 10 am to 5 pm.
