Holidaymakers leaving Dhaka even on Eid day

Many people could not leave Dhaka before Eid for various reasons to avoid suffering, not getting leave, not getting vehicles. They are leaving Dhaka day on Eid day to share happiness with family, relatives and friends.
The bus counters was seen open at the Gabtoli bus terminal in the capital on Wednesday morning. The presence of the passengers was also eye-catching.
Md Abdul Hadi Was standing in front of Satkhira Line ticket counter with his wife and child. They will go to Satkhira. Asked why he left in the morning on Eid day, Abdul Hadi said, “I work in marketing and was on duty until yesterday. If I wanted, I could have left last night. I have to take my family, so I didn’t leave at night.”
Another passenger named Masud will go to Khulna. He said, “Passengers have a lot of pressure before Eid. It is very difficult to go to the village at this time. Basically this is why I did not go before. I’m going to home with relax today.”
The Golden Line runs on the Dhaka-Faridpur-Barisal-Barguna-Patuakhali-Amtali-Khepupara-Kuakata line. The counter master Mizanur Rahman said people are going to the village even on Eid day but less in number.
“Eight vehicles left from 6.00 am to 11.00 am on Wednesday. More buses to leave the counter. The passenger crowd is likely to increase again in the afternoon.”
