Law enforcers asked to be strict in enforcing lockdown
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has requested the law enforcement agencies to be strict in enforcing the ongoing lockdown in the country and comply people with the health guidelines.

The DGHS made the request through its virtual daily bulletin to check the upward transmission of the coronavirus infection.
Prof Dr Robed Amin, spokesman of the DGHS, read out the health bulletin.

He said coronavirus infection situation has worsened in the country. It has already spread to different parts of the country including the border areas. The number of infected patients has been rising day by day. Besides the death rate has been increasing alarmingly. In such a situation, lockdown has been imposed on areas surrounding Dhaka to contain the infection.

The DGHS spokesman also requested all to strictly comply with the ongoing lockdown and restrictions to reduce the rate of transmission. If necessary, law enforcement agencies are requested to be stricter.
