Cautionary Signal No. 3 issued for sea ports, rain likely

The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra were advised to keep hoisted local Cautionary Signal No. 3 while cautionary signal No. 1 was issued for the inland river ports on Wednesday.
The weather forecast till Thursday morning said light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over southern part of the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. Wind direction and speed at Dhaka : South/Southeasterly (10-15) kph. gusting to 25 kph.
The highest temperature of the country was recorded in Sylhet on Tuesday, 36 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded 22.5 degrees Celsius in Feni.
Significant rainfall has been recorded in the last 24 hours--98mm in Kutubdia, 43mm in Teknaf, 39 mm in Sylhet, 75 mm in Cox's Bazar, 39mm in Sylhet, 48mm in Dinajpur, 24 mm in Dimla, 41mm in Satkhira, 70mm in Khulna, 54mm in Patuakhali, 46mm in Khepupara and 68mm in Bhola.
