A Dhaka court has granted police two days to interrogate two associates of Tuhin Siddique Omi, arrested in an attempted rape and murder case filed by film actress Pori Moni, in another case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debabrata Biswas passed the order on Wednesday after hearing the remand petition from the police.
Those remanded are Basir and Mioshiur. They were arrested alongwith 102 passports from Omi's recruiting agency Singapore Training Centre at Ashkona in city's Dakshinkhan area on Tuesday night.
Later, Omi, Basir and Mioshiur have been sued under the Passport Act.
Police produced them before the court seeking 10 days remand for them.
Police said, although Omi owns the agency, Basir and Moshiur used to operate all office works.
