Birangana laid to rest with state honour in Mymensingh

Birangana Jahera Khatun was laid to rest with state honour at Haluaghat upazila in Mymensingh district on Wednesday morning.

She breathed her last at home in Khanakpara village on Tuesday afternoon. She was 76.

Jahera left a son, four daughters and many well-wishers behind to mourn his death.

She was given guard of honour by a team of Haluaghat police before namaj-e-janaza, while Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Rezaul Karim and others were present.
