Actress Pori Moni expresses hope that she will get fair trial in the attempted rape and murder case.
She went to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) office around 3:30 pm on Tuesday to thank police for speedily arresting the accused.
After talking to the DB police, Pori Moni came out in the evening and told reporters, “It is like a magic, I mean everything have done so fast…in just a few hours….! When people wake up in the morning, I did not get that opportunity. I mean, I didn’t have time to sleep. Before that I saw that things were done quickly. They have been arrested.”
The actress said, “This is a big proof that police are so magical. Now I just believe that I will get the justice.”
Mentioning that there was a friendly conversation with the DB police, Pori Moni said that she is now getting emotional relief.
She said, “I am very refreshed mentally when I come here. No one told me that I would return to work. Everyone around me tried to comfort me. But they have given me that support for so long that I have to go back to work. Talking about my work, I am being given various good vibes. How can I get back to my normal life ... I didn’t expect so much from them. They are so friendly.”
