Construction worker dies from electrocution in Rajshahi
A construction worker died from electrocution at Bagha upazila in Rajshahi district on Sunday morning.
Deceased Mehedi Hasan Apu, 19, was the son of Nizam Uddin, a resident of Bakna village under Lalpur upazila in Natore district.
Witnesses said Mehedi came in contact with a live electric wire while working in a construction site at Bengari village under Bagha upazila, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Bagha Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Bagha Police Station officer in-charge Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter.
