Police on Saturday recovered the bodies of a woman and two children from the bank of Naf River along Moulvibazar border in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar.
Teknaf Police Station OC Hafizur Rahman said the deceased could not be identified yet.
Local sources assumed that the three were Rohingyas and they might have met the tragic death while crossing the river.
According to a Rohingya camp source, the deceased were the wife and children of camp-11 (Balukhali) resident Jane Alam. Five members of his family drowned while crossing the river secretly on Friday night. Two are still missing.
