Stricter lockdown in Rajshahi city from Friday afternoon

The Rajshahi district administration has announced a seven-day lockdown in the city from 5pm on Friday (June 11) to June 17 midnight due to the alarming spread of coronavirus.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Shariful Haque said the district administration has announced stricter lockdown in the city from June 11 to June 17.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the administration officials at Rajshahi Circuit House on Thursday night.
All types of shops in Rajshahi city will remain closed during this lockdown. However, drug stores or other emergency services stores will remain open. Food, cargo and emergency services vehicles will be able to ply as usaul. Apart from this, all types of vehicles and public transport will remain suspended.
