Amazon Echo Buds (2nd gen) review

Amazon’s audio business has been on a roll this last year. First there was the new and improved Amazon Echo which took sound quality to a whole new level and now there are Amazon Echo Buds (2nd genre) that can do the same for the company's flagship sound by displacing true wireless earbuds.
To make these improvements, Amazon has made the case for the new Amazon Echo Buds 2 even smaller (by about 40%) and has taken seriously both its sound-canceling technology and overall audio functionality. The result is truly wireless earbuds that reject more ambient noise than before and sound better - also easier to carry.
Here are a few more small changes - such as taking wireless charging through a wireless charging pad and vents to reduce the pressure created inside the ear - as well as some changes in the setup process that will help you fit properly.
While we still have a lot of testing to run on Amazon Echo Buds before we give it a specific rating, so far we think it's a strong improvement over their predecessors - and Amazon's best effort ever at Earbud - but probably Sony, Sennheiser and Bose. Its best is not better than true wireless earbuds.
