Journalist Khandoker Fazlur Rahman Feeuri no more

Journalist Khandoker Fazlur Rahman Feeuri, Joint News Editor of The Daily Observer, is no more.

He died of throat cancer at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka at about 2:30pm on Saturday. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajeun. He was 70.

The journalist is survived by his wife and only son who is an Army officer, a host of relatives, well wishers, and colleagues.

His body was taken to his village home at Dhalla in Mirzapur of Tangail district for burial.

Feeuri Khandoker also worked at the Bangladesh Observer and some other English dailies.

He was a member of Jatiya Press Club.

The Daily Observer family is deeply saddened at the death of Khandoker Fazlur Rahman Feeuri.
