Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has suspended flight operations to Nepal to contain the spread of coronavirus.
A notice, signed by CAAB Director (Flight Standard Regulation and International Affairs) Captain Imamur Rahman, in this regard was issued on Sunday.
"Flight operations with Nepal will remained suspended until further order as the country remains at high risk of the coronavirus spread from the neighbouring countries," the notice said.
However, only Bangladeshi expatriates/citizens who visited Nepal in 15 days prior to travelling to Bangladesh are allowed to enter Dhaka with special approval from the authorities concerned in Bangladesh, the notice said.
