Boy found dead in Kurigram

Police recovered the hanging body of a 12-year-old boy at Rajarhat upazila in Kurigram district on Friday afternoon. 

Deceased Rabbi was the son of Hares Mia, a resident of Chakirpasha union in the upazila. 

Locals said Rabbi went out of the house to deliver meal to his father working in a field in Tagaraihat area this afternoon. 

Later, local people found the boy hanging from a tree in the area and informed police. 

After recovery, police sent the body to Kurigram Sadar Hospital morgue, said Rajarhat Police Station OC Raju Sarker. 

Police assumed that he might have committed suicide by hanging himself, he added.

Meanwhile, relatives and neigbours of the deceased claimed that the boy did commit suicide rather was murdered.
