Throat-slit body of minor boy recovered


Police recovered the throat-slit body of an eight-year-old boy from a paddy field in Shahjahanpur upazila of Bogura district on Tuesday afternoon.

Deceased Siam was the son of late Nazrul Islam, a resident of Tetulgari village under Bhatgram union in Nandigram upazila of the district.

The family members said Siam was playing beside the house on Tuesday morning. After that, he went missing.

Locals spotted his body in the paddy field one kilometer away from the house this afternoon and informed police.

After recovery, police sent the body to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue.

Additional superintendent of Bogura police Faisal Mahmud confirmed the matter.
