Control cell opened for transportation, marketing of goods

The Commerce Ministry has opened a control cell in order to help traders importing, transporting and marketing of essential commodities.

The ministry issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday afternoon.

It said if there is any problem in production, import, transportation and marketing of daily essential commodities, traders can contact the control cell for assistance.

The phone numbers of the cell are: 01712 168917, 01738 195106, and 01756 173560.

The government has imposed a week-long complete lockdown to contain the second wave of coronavirus infection in the country.

The lockdown will be effective from 6:00am on April 14 (Wednesday) till midnight on April 21 (Wednesday). During the lockdown, everything will remain closed, except emergency services, mills and factories, and transportation of goods.
