Residents of 14 villages in Bhola start Ramadan fasting
Residents of 14 villages in Bhola district began the holy fasting month of Ramadan on Tuesday, in accordance with Saudi Arabia and other countries.
The 14 villages are: Ilisha and Ratanpur under Sadar upazila; Tabgi and Mulaipattan under Borhanuddin; Shibpur, Khaserhat, Chandpur and Chanchra under Tajumuddin; Farajganj and Lalmohan municipality area under Lalmohan; and Dularhat, Dhalchar; and Charfasson municipality area and Char Patila under Charfasson.
The residents began their dawn-to-sunset fast after having ‘Sehri’ at early hours of Tuesday
However, they also performed their Taraweeh prayers after Isha prayers on Monday night, our local correspondent reports.
