Railway to run 8 goods-laden trains during lockdown

All passengers train will be kept suspended from Wednesday (April 14) due to weeklong strict lockdown.

But Bangladesh Railway will operate eight goods-laden trains during this period, said Minister Nurul Islam Sujan. 

The Minister said this at a press conference at Rail Bhaban on Tuesday.

The trains will be operated on Dhaka-Chattogram, Dhaka-Sarishabari, Chattogram-Sylhet and Khulna-Dhaka routes. 

Bangladesh is going to a strict lockdown from tomorrow (April 14) to tackle coronavirus situation.
