Nine go to gallows for killing expatriate

Fourth Additional District and Sessions Judge Farzana Akhter delivered the verdict on Monday.

The court also fined the convicts Tk 20,000 each.

One of the 10 accused in the case was cleared of the charges as he had died during the trial.

Only one convict was present in the dock while eight others  are absconding.

According to the prosecution, the convicts had killed Nesar Ahmed Tota of Kanchuapar in Fatikchhari Upazila on November 1, 2003.
