Bangladesh is likely to start Tuesday on a dry note as the sky may remain partly cloudy over the country in the next 24 hours.

However, there is a chance of light rain or thundershowers at one or two places of Sylhet division, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places across the country from late night to morning.

About the synoptic situation, the Met office said, "The trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay."

The day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly.
