PBI asked to investigate case against Nasir, Tamima

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim passed the order asking the PBI to submit the report within March 30.

Earlier in the morning, Tamima’s former husband Rakib Hasan filed the case with the same court.

Rakib's lawyer Israt Hasan told media, "Tamima married Nasir without divorcing him. confirmed media about the matter. As per the law, they both committed offence. Under the circumstance, this marriage is considered void."

All-rounder Nasir and cabin crew Tamima tied the knot on February 14. But within a week, their wedding became embroiled in controversy as Tamima's former husband Rakib Hasan lodged a general diary alleging that Tamima married the cricketer without divorcing him.

Despite all the controversies, Nasir hosted a lavish wedding reception at a hotel in the capital’s Gulshan area on February 20.
