Coronavirus-infected Ibrahim Khaled's condition 'critical'

Coronavirus infected former deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank Khondker Ibrahim Khaled has been shifted to life support after the deterioration of his physical condition.
He is now undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
BSMMU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Kanak Kanti Barua said Khondker Ibrahim Khaled's condition started to worsen from February 19. He was shifted to life support on Sunday afternoon. His condition is very 'critical.'
Professor Dr Kanak Kanti Barua further said perhaps, Khondker Ibrahim Khaled suffered a brain stroke. "But, there is no scope of examining the matter through CT scan due to his deteriorating physical condition," he said.
Khondker Ibrahim Khaled was admitted to Bangladesh Specialised Hospital at Shyamoli on February 1 last after he was infected with Covid-19. He was later shifted to the BSMMU.
