Indian air chief pays tribute at Shikha Anirban

Visiting Indian Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria on Tuesday paid tribute to members of the Armed Forces, who made their supreme sacrifices in the War of Liberation, by placing floral wreaths at the Shikha Anirban at Dhaka Cantonment.

He also signed the visiting book there.

The Indian Air Chief arrived in Dhaka on Monday  on a three-day visit to Bangladesh at the invitation of Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, the Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF).

During his stay in Bangladesh,  the Indian Air Force Chief will also pay courtesy calls on the Air Force and Army Chief of Bangladesh and meet senior BAF officers.

Besides, he will  visit major BAF air bases, Defence Services Command and Staff College, Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Liberation War Museum and St Martins Island, according to an ISPR release.
