Now DU students enter halls breaking locks

Now DU students enter halls breaking locks

After Jahangirnagar University, students of Dhaka University (DU) entered the dormitories breaking open the locks on Monday.

As per their pre-schedule announcement, the students broke the lock of Shahidullah and Amar Ekushey Halls at noon and took position there.

DU Vice Chancellor Aktaruzzaman told The Business Standard, "We are in a meeting over the issue and looking into the matter."

Meanwhile, JU students are still occupying its different dormitories defying the university administration's instruction to leave the campus by 10 am on Monday.
