Two held with hemp in Pabna

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested two persons along with 58 kgs of hemp in Pabna district on Friday night.

The arrested persons are Abu Taleb, 45, of Dholai village under Hatibandha upazila and truck driver Tojammel Haque, 35, hails from Durakuta village of Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat district.

On information, a team of RAB-12 led by acting company commander Aminul Kabir Tarafder conducted a drive at Jalapur area on the Pabna-Dhaka highway around 11pm and detained the two with the drugs.  

A case was lodged with Pabna Sadar Police Station in this connection.
