Woman dies being hit by falling tree

A woman was killed after a tree fell on her in Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar on Saturday.

A mother of six children, deceased Lalmoti Vanu,50, was the wife of Abdur Razzaque in Chhatakchhara area.

Relatives said Lalmoti was hit by a falling tree when the forest department workers were cutting trees in the Kalachhara forest in the morning.

She was taken to upazil health complex where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.

Kamalganj OC Sohel Rana said lodged complaint, but got the information and were going to the hospital.
